Visiting writers include US Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera, Josie Mendez-Negrete (with master ceramicist Veronica Castillo), Robert O’Connor, Danez Smith, Josh Aaseng and Kimberly Clark. The classroom visit with Ta-Nehisi Coates is closed to the public, but Coates will be featured in a live event that is on campus and open to the public.
